Roves Farm

Sevenhampton, Swindon SN6 7QG, UK – 01793 763939

Lovely family run farm with indoor and outdoor play areas. Inclusive tractor ride which our 2 year old loves and access to pet animals. There is plenty of space in the cafe and the toilets and baby change facilities are well thought out. The family stamp trail is a lovely walk. They have story time and singing for toddlers throughout the week which is lovely and adds to the personal feeling. We have been back a few times now and I am sure it won't be the last.

Brilliant place to take your children. It opens at 10am - 5pm. Loads of different things to do. A huge slide n go karting, climbing tower n a pit of balls, bouncy castle for your little ones. A cafe n loos. Loads of tables to eat at. Outside to the barns and saw the animals. At 2pm we had a tractor ride around the farm. There is another huge play area outside for older children.😊

Local Parks & Gardens

Stanton Country Park

The Avenue, Stanton Fitzwarren, Swindon SN6 7SF, UK – 01793 490150

Nice short walks around a lake and beyond. Fairly quiet walks most of the time. Does get muddy over the winter. Enjoy tea and scones on good days but can get busy with limited seating.

Lovely park, well maintained fenced fields to walk the dogs in (when there is no livestock). Paths are kept clear. Good for family's and dog walkers!

The Freke Arms

Swanborough, Hannington, Swindon SN6 7RN, UK – 01793 762297

Loved it here, food was amazing and so much off it. 2nd time we'd eaten here and we will be going again

Good food. Great beer.

Stanton Park

Lovely little country park, just right for a walk around the lake with a two year old after Sunday lunch. The volunteer run cafe is lovely (and cheap) but check opening hours.

Lovely place for a walk. Unfortunately there are too many dogs without leash
